A Good Johnny Mack Brown Movie
This was an entertaining western movie from 1937 starring Johnny Mack Brown. The gunfights are few, riding horses and chasing others on horses is the norm. There is even romance. The plot is acceptable. I rated it high based on the year and compared to the typical western movies of 1930's and into the 1940's

Old fashioned shootem up bang bang
Good old Sheriff Tom get the girl.. Well who would have ever seen THAT coming? I think I could count on one, maybe two fingers the movies where the good guy doesn't get the girl so I guess that begs the question why don't the bad guys ever get the girls in the end? Good guys are out of fashion these days.
Just once I'd like to see the bad guy dragging the good pretty girl off then the bad hussy getting drunk with the good guy in a brothel and the words, THE END! Oh wait..they do that now days, don't they? So much for apple pie and mom and all that stuff..
